A blanket of snow covers the lawn,
The sun arises in a new dawn,
Yet I cannot appreciate this,
For I am stuck in a black abyss,
The black sun comes up in my world,
The purple stars, their aura unfurled,
Im waiting alone, the voices outside,
Yet here I lay, in my world and hide,
The scares all around me, of death and sorrow,
Wishing for a new tomorrow,
I can hear it, the fingers scratching at the lid,
Letting in light from which I hid,
A slow creaking, and then theres a face,
Shining with sunlight, warm with embrace,
I can tell that you liked me, otherwise you would have ran,
But no, you stayed, you took my hand,
You opened my coffin, and banished my fears,
You took away the sorrows, the scares and the jeers,
You raised up my heart on the wings of a dove,
And quite frankly my dear, you gave me your Love.
